High chair recalled over potential suffocation risk

A high chair sold online at Amazon, Walmart and Shein is subject to recall. The Costway Babyjoy high chair can pose a suffocation risk, according to the recall. The high chair has an incline greater than 10 degrees, which the Consumer Product Safety Commission said violates the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. Additionally, the high chair has a gap between the seat and tray that exceeds federal standards, which can cause a child to become trapped. The high chairs subject to recall include those with model Nos. BB5656GR, BB5656PI and BB5656BE, which were sold from Nov. 1, 2022, through Nov. 27, 2024.
