Heather Rae El Moussa Says Christina Haack Friendship Is 'Getting There'
Heather Rae El Moussa exclusively told Us Weekly that she’s making progress on her friendship with husband Tarek El Moussa’s ex-wife, Christina Haack. “I think friendship is a very special thing, like being a friend. And I think we’re getting there, right? We’re opening up to each other about things,” Heather, 37, told Us while promoting her partnership with Orgain Clean Nutrition Products. “We help each other through things. We talk about personal things with each other and guide each other through things. So our friendship is developing even more and more.” The trio recently collaborated on HGTV’s The Flip Off and spend even more time together with their blended family. Tarek shares daughter Taylor, born 2010, and son Brayden, born 2015, with Christina while he welcomed son Tristan with Heather in 2024. Heather opened up to Us about the way she bonded with Christina through filming their HGTV show. Tarek El Moussa on Working With Heather, Christina: 'How Did I Get Here?’ “It did [surprise me] because we talk about the kids. It’s school, school stuff and homework and discipline and sports, but then, we don’t know each other,” she said. “We didn’t know each other on a deeper level of who we are as individuals and filming a show together and being around each other more outside of just the children. [The Flip Off] got us to know each other on more of a friendship level.” Christina shared via Instagram on Friday, May 9 that she attended an early Mother’s Day celebration alongside Heather at her son Brayden’s school. “We got spoiled early for Mother’s Day by this cutie. Beautiful classroom tea party, sweet notes and lots of love,” Christina wrote. “Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend as well!” Elsewhere, Heather expressed interest in potentially teaming up with Christina if HGTV renews The Flip Off for a second season. The reality series pits Christina and Tarek — with their respective partners — against one another to see who makes the most money off house flipping. (Christina and estranged husband Joshua Hall split after filming The Flip Off and settled their divorce in May.) “It’s an incredible show. We are very hands-on. We are executive producers. We helped create the show,” she told Us. “We started in the show, and there’s always trash talk with Tar and Christina, not so much me. I mean, it’s fun to gang up on my husband. He’s just easy and he has fun with it.” The Selling Sunset alum added, “Christina and I, we’ve built a friendship throughout The Flip Off …
