Jordan: Drone Shot Down Over Jordan Sparks Fire
Jordan - April 11, 2025 A drone believed to be heading toward Israel from Yemen was intercepted and shot down over Hammamat Ma’in, a hot springs area in Jordan's Madaba Governorate. The incident caused a fire but no injuries were reported. The Jordanian Armed Forces confirmed the drone’s entry into Jordanian airspace, stating it crashed near the Dead Sea and triggered an explosion. Local media and eyewitnesses reported loud blasts and flames in the area. The Israeli military had earlier noted the interception of a drone approaching from the east—typically indicating a threat from Houthi forces in Yemen.

Olympic gold medal sprinter destroys the field in parents race at son’s school
Two-time Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce made short work of other parents at her son’s school when she participated in their sports day. Hilarious drone footage shows just how much faster the five-time World Champion is than a normal human being as she streaked away from the field in Jamaica. The third-fastest woman of all time was so quick she even confused the drone which lost track of her before she crossed the finish line. Fraser-Pryce became the first Jamaican woman to win an Olympic women's 100m title at Beijing 2008 and defended her title at London 2012. Earlier this month she posted a video to social media announcing she had “unfinished business” and was returning to the track this year. She last raced at the Paris Games in 2024.
