Storyline: The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,912, with 115,981 injured from Israeli military operations since October 7, 2023, according to a Gaza health authorities' statement on Friday. In the past 24 hours, 26 bodies and 106 injured individuals were transported to health facilities across Gaza, as was reported in Friday's update. Since Israel resumed military operations in Gaza on March 18, which led to the collapse of a two-month ceasefire, 1,542 Palestinians have been killed and 3,940 injured, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
