Drone footage shot in the coastal suburb of Clontarf, Dublin, on April 3 shows the result of an unfortunate Easter Weekend driving mishap that saw a motorist end up in the water.Local media reported that emergency services “raced to the scene,” as the surrounding area was closed off.One of the emergency services involved, Howth Coast Guard, tweeted that the “driver was taken from the car, treated on scene and removed to hospital.” They added that “no serious injuries” had been sustained.“There’s something you don’t see every day,” Luke O’Faolain, who captured the drone footage, tweeted, with his video showing crowds gathering to view the peculiar sight of the car lying prone in the water just yards away from a popular walkway.
