Huntsman Spider Watches Over Hatchlings at Queensland Home

The pet huntsman spider was seen watching over her newly hatched offspring at a home Torbanlea, Queensland, video posted on March 21 shows.The owner of the spider, Lisa Donovan, told Storyful huntsman spiders typically have around 200 offspring, which hang around their mother for a couple of weeks before dispersing to start feeding on their own.“This spider and her babies are venomous, but they are not deadly,” said Donovan, who is planning to keep a few to raise and release.
