Northern California forecast for Mother's Day 2025

Temperatures will linger near or at the 90-degree range Friday before a sharp cooldown in time for Mother's Day in Northern California. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Friday's forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 87 degrees, a dip from the 93 degrees recorded Thursday. The average for this time of year is 79 degrees.
