Ahead of 4/20, New York’s immersive cannabis experience THC NYC is host an open house in the days leading up to the unofficial holiday. Those who roll through can shop top cannabis brands and take a journey through the heart of the cannabis culture.

Steppin’ Stoned with Raekwon

Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan will help kick off 4/20 weekend with a performance at S.O.B.‘s Steppin’ Stoned. The night will be hosted by Shiest Bubz, the official Cannabis Grand Marshal in New York City and founder of “The Smoker’s Club,” featuring sounds by Hip Hop DJ Green Lantern, the official DJ for Snoop Dogg and Nas. There will also be a variety of cannabis products for attendees to explore.

MARY Fest

Making its debut this year, MARY Fest is an experimental event that encompasses the cannabis-centric lifestyle through fashion, music, design and wellness. There will be 30 vendors will showcase products innovating in the cannabis space today including Etain Health, House of Puff, Boston Beer Company, Teapot, Wyld CBD, Hemper, and Incredibles, and attendees will be able to sample products in designated areas.

You won’t just be laughing from the high. Hosted by Priya Blunts, this 4/20 comedy show and party puts a spotlight on Femme comics and performers in the heart of Bushwick. This show will feature performances by Eva Evans, Sureni Weerasekera, Sunny Laprade and Christiana Jackson, plus a live DJ set from Gabalicious and tarot readings from Oracle Electric. Dazed Cannabis 420 Block Party

Live from Union Square, Dazed is hosting a 4/20-themed block party. The event will include DJ Sarcastic spinning hits, fun photo ops with cannabis characters, special giveaways, and 420 countdown and toast.

First, a live performance from DJ Wavy McGrady from 12 to 3 p.m., and then that evening there will be Blazed & Amused: A 4/20 Comedy Show that will feature Daniela Mora from New York Comedy Festival, Asad Benbow from Wild ‘n Out, Dan Toomey from Morning Brew and more, with tickets starting at $23.18. On April 21, Verdi will also host a Book Signing with David Paleschuck and a Sofar Sounds show.
