MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former HOCO and Georgia star Jake Fromm made a trip to his old hometown to share his words of wisdom as the Keynote Speaker of the 2024 Boys Scouts Council Pacesetter Dinner.

Fromm spoke to donors and scout troops alike about his experience in leadership during his football career so far, and how he hopes to use that experience he learned to help better the next generation of Middle Georgia.

“Its always cool to kind of comeback to kind of your hometown, same community, and to be able to speak before people and especially before the youth too. It’s a big responsibility and it’s something that I don’t take lightly” said Fromm. “It’s a privilege and an honor and it’s always exciting when you get to do it. The pressure is there because you want to do a great job and make sure you are leading them in the right direction and hopefully they make less mistakes than I made.”
