FITCHBURG — Two large lottery prizes from May of last year are nearing expiration next month and the state Lottery Commission said one of the tickets was purchased at a store on Summer Street.

According to a release, one unclaimed $100,000 Mass Cash and one unclaimed $25,000 a year for life prize from May of 2023 will be expiring soon – May 2 for the Mass Cash and May 17 for the $25K for life.

And the unclaimed Mass Cash ticket – with winning numbers 01-13-17-24-25 – was purchased in Honey Land at 220 Summer St.,Fitchburg, with a draw date of May 2, 2023. The $25K for life ticket – with winning numbers 15-22-28-29-41-6 – was purchased in Natick at J Convenience Store on North Main Street, with a draw date of May 17, 2023.

Lottery prizes that expire become part of the net profit that the Lottery returns to the Commonwealth for distribution to all 351 cities and towns

Prizes up to and including $100,000 can be claimed at Lottery claim centers, which are located in Braintree, Dorchester, New Bedford, Springfield, Woburn and Worcester. All prizes over $100,000 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.

The final day to claim the Mass Cash prize won on May 2, 2023 is May 2, 2024 and the last day to claim the Lucky for Life prize won on May 17, 2023 is May 17, 2024.
