Birmingham pastor blames 'racist republicans and Donald Trump' for Buffalo supermarket attack that killed 10
It was at a Buffalo, New York supermarket where police say 18-year-old Payton Gendron showed up with the intent to kill as many Black people as possible. Authorities said he killed 10 black people and injured others inside as they were shopping. The racially motivated attack this month angered people across the country. Here at home, Birmingham pastor Michael Jordan is frustrated. As motorists passed by New Era Baptist Church off of Cotton Avenue, their attention was quickly caught by a message on his church display sign outside. One side says “Blame racist republicans and Donald Trump for the mass murder of Blacks in Buffalo.” The other side of the sign reads “Blame white Christians and white pastors for supporting and breeding white supremacy.” Watch the video to learn more.
