Black History Month has helped give tribute to significant achievements from the Black community. For example, when it comes to America’s culinary legacy, no other group has had quite as much impact as African Americans. Sadly, that impact has historically been diminished and rarely fully acknowledged. There are plenty of ways to commemorate Black History Month this year, from learning about the roots of soul food, supporting Black-owned business, to donating to charities supporting anti-racism.
