I am from a Jewish family. But as a child in Venezuela I grew up caroling at Christmas. My grandma’s house was open to all expats of all religions to join together during the holidays. Many had family in other countries and could not get back home. So December 25th, we all converged around my grandma’s piano to sing Christmas carols.
