The Digital Sales Planner is a crucial member of the Sales Team managing campaigns from the RFP stage through the end of a campaign. In this role, you will work closely with Salespeople, Ad Operations, Marketing and other internal teams to provide clients with the most efficient and effective experience when partnering with Flipboard. 

The success of all advertising campaigns lies in the hands of the Sales Planner. As a result of all of these duties, Sales Planners learn how to sell advertising in a fast paced and evolving entrepreneurial environment. Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage all campaigns from start to finish
  • Create the following for all RFPs/campaigns:
  • Media Plans
  • Client Decks
  • Wrap reports
  • Work closely with Sales Associate and Ad Operations to:
  • Launch all campaigns
  • Monitor delivery
  • Implement all optimizations
  • Bill all campaigns
  • Serve as the day to day client contact for all advertising campaigns
  • Write business correspondence for existing and new clients
  • Participate in brainstorms with Salesperson, Marketing, and other internal teams for large RFPs
  • Hold weekly campaign review meetings with Ad Operations and Sales Associate
  • Respond to inbound advertising inquiries
  • Qualify advertising inquiries and opportunities for coverage by Flipboard sales
  • Grow small accounts and opportunities from test budgets to larger ongoing advertising commitments.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required proficiency in Mac, Powerpoint, Keynote and Microsoft Office
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in a Digital Media role
  • Previous experience with mobile applications and mobile advertising
  • Experience in print advertising
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
