President Trump Speaks On Virginia Giuffre’s Death
President Donald Trump has spoken out on the death of Virginia Giuffre, who lost her life to suicide at age 41. The family of Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, confirmed that she died by suicide on her Western Australian farm “after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and trafficking. Giuffre was an accuser of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, both of whom Trump has previously been linked to. Speaking to reporters at a New Jersey airport, Trump described Giuffre’s death as “a very sad situation.” “That whole situation is very sad—her and others. Certainly, that’s a horrible thing,” he told reporters. Despite being born in the US, Giuffre had lived in Western Australia for years and played a central role in the downfall of the disgraced multimillionaire financier, Epstein. Giuffre’s death has raised suspicion amongst those close to her, especially her father, Sky Roberts, who has called for an investigation into her death by authorities. Citing her social media activity, Roberts told reporters that she has no suicidal ideations; similarly, her lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, has said that there are “big question marks” surrounding her death. Giuffre allegedly worked as a spa attendant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, where she was introduced to Maxwell. Between the ages of 17 and 18, following her introduction to Maxwell, Giuffre worked as a massage therapist for the disgraced financier, who flew her around the world to meet with other men. The mother of three successfully filed a defamation suit against Epstein; however, the case was dismissed after Epstein was found hanged in his cell in 2019. In 2021, Giuffre accused the former Duke of York, Prince Andrew, whom she claims both Epstein and Maxwell forced her to have sex with, of sexual abuse, sparking a case that has since been settled. In 2021, Giuffre founded Speak Out, Act Out, Reclaim (SOAR), a non-profit organization that provided support to survivors of sex trafficking.
