Romanian Soups & Stews: The Ultimate Comfort Foods

Nothing says comfort food like hearty stews and soups, which is exactly what my home country, Romania, is known for. Here are a few of my favorite traditional dishes like sarmale — stuffed cabbage rolls — and ciorba de vacuta, which is translated as "little cow soup." These recipes are made from humble and easy-to-find ingredients and are sure to keep you warm and cozy throughout the autumn and winter.
