Most Obese Countries

The obesity rate for Americans comes in at a whopping 36.2%, which puts the hamburger's birthplace and the Cronut at near the top of the heftiest-nations-in-the-world rankings, according to the WHO. Worldwide obesity has almost tripled since 1975; as of 2017, the World Health Organisation declared more than 603 million adults and 107 million children to be obese globally - that is, roughly five percent of all children and 12 percent of adults on earth.
