Countries By Life Expectancy

When children are born, their parents or society expect them to live as long as possible. However, the number of years a person can live depends on their exposure to risks, accidents, diseases, birth events (complications at birth), and the general life expectancy of the society they are born into. According to the United Nations, the global average life expectancy is 72.6 years. However, women have higher life expectancy than men, despite their higher morbidity rate.
