90% of the world's population lives in the northern hemisphere

There are 7.7 billion people living in the world, of which 90% are in the northern hemisphere. There is only a handful of major population centers Kinshasa, Jakarta, Lima, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Brazil megalopolises, Australian megalopolises and a handful of capital cities. The reason for this the big population centres on the Indian subcontinent and in China. And by the combined weight of the US and Mexican population.
