Trans Mountain Pipeline
The $7.4-billion Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project is essentially a twinning of the existing 1,150-kilometre pipeline between Strathcona County, Alberta and Burnaby, B.C. It will create a pipeline system with the nominal capacity of the system going from 300,000 barrels per day to 890,000 barrels per day. It will be approximately 980 km of new pipeline.
