I have found that through imagination your meditation process becomes a lot easier. Lately I've been meditating a lot. I wake up and do it, I lay down and do it, I shower and do it, whenever I get a minute to my own I do it. I prefer to use guided meditations simply because they make it easier to imagine. When you are concentrating on someones voice and sound is like they are telling you a story, but YOU have to be the story and begin to live it in that moment. As you mediate and dissolve all thought, you are able to completely let go. The words become a part of you and all of a sudden you begin to feel the vibrant energy all around you. Every breath becomes longer and this tingly sensation runs down your whole body making you feel lighter and higher. At this point I believe you are in the process of creation. You are the paintbrush and the canvas, the movie and the director, I find this moment best to imagine what life you want to be living right now. This is the moment you focus on how you want to feel and who you truly are. If you are feeling sick or down, picture golden light or beautiful shiny gold dust filling in your body and mind everything you breathe in. Imagine this radiant light is swirling around your body, cleansing it from anything negative, anything that is no good for you anymore. If you simply want to silence your mind and clear your thoughts imagine your favorite place to be alone, the place where everything is perfectly aligned with you. It could be a quiet river in a forest or at a peak of mountain, or in your peaceful dream home, imagine any of those and take in slow and easy breathes. You will find concentration easy and you'll feel yourself letting go of everything and learn to live in the present moment, where you belong, where you are from and where everything you want need and desire is nothing but a breath away.
