A common problem in Europe is identifying a country by its most popular destination. For the Czech Republic, that's Prague, the enchanting capital that so many fall in love with. But this small central European country is positively loaded with places to see, from other cities and cute towns to some fantastic opportunities to get away from everything.
The Czech Republic, or Czechia as it is increasingly being known, is quickly becoming a favourite destination of central Europe. As a country once behind the Iron Curtain, it's safe to say Czechia's popularity in the global tourism market has long been on the rise.

People may not know this but the Czech Republic is home to some pretty incredible nature destinations. Through my visits, I've had the pleasure of seeing many of these spots. Honestly, the nature has become one of my favourite things about Czechia.
It's hard to know what to expect from a place called the Bohemian Switzerland when you first hear it. But see photos of this incredible place in the Czech Republic and you'll be dying to go like I was.

Castles and Europe go hand in hand. They just do. When people think of European Castles, probably countries like Germany and France come to mind. And yet just a little further to the east, the Czech Republic is home to some undeniably gorgeous castles.
Sometimes things just don't go your way. It's my own fault really. I've shared my fondness for Czech castles before, so it was no surprise I was keen to visit Hluboka Castle when I was nearby.
