2023: Year in Travel

Travel was truly back in 2023 as COVID-19 restrictions lifted. Where did people go? Mykonos was the No. 1 destination of the summer, while Passalacqua in Lake Como, Italy, was voted the world's best hotel. TV shows like "The White Lotus" also impacted where people chose to vacation. As important as "where" was "how" and "with whom" as sustainable and solo adventures hit the mainstream. And Congress got involved in the bid to ditch so-called junk fees and make travel more transparent.
