Haha just kidding it's time to have some fun and work that body with round 2 of #corewitharis one week of different exercises to work your whole body and same rules apply as last time every day I will put up a video with 3 different exercises, beginner, intermediate and advanced choose 1 and do for 15 seconds.....all these exercises start with one leg up and if balance or strength is an issue i would put a chair or stool next to you and use one arm for balance, remember do ONE of these transitions in the video...remember videos!!! 1) Begginner: Start with opposite knee up, bring that same leg back to a bent leg kick while at the same time bending your plant foot slightly to be able to touch the knee and stand back up again..and repeat 2) Intermediate: Start with opposite knee up, bring that leg back to a bent leg kick while at the same time bending your plant foot fully to touch the floor and stand back up and repeat 3) Advanced: Start with opposite knee up bring that same leg forward and straight going into a one Leg squat with the planted foot, stand halfway up and kick the opposite leg back and repeat into the one leg squat.......If you cannot do the exercises because of injury please don't attempt..... Yoga meets rock climbing! Wha? WHAT?! This is a special asana for me because it plays such a huge part in my rock climbing. The ability to balance on your toes with open hips to the rock gives the upper body a nice rest when working through a difficult route. The added mudra symbolizes the union of yoga and climbing. (..And no I don't do the mudra while climbing☺️) This is Day 25 Prapadasana with Reverse Anjali Mudra (tiptoe pose with reverse prayer) 👉As always listen to your body and make sure you're warmed up before doing this asana: 1. Stand in Tadasana. Mountain Pose. 2. As you squat, your heals will rise as you shift only to the balls of your feet. Try to keep heels touching as they rise and your torso lowers. 3. Squat as low as you can. Bum to heals if possible. 4. Now, if possible reach behind for reverse Anjali Mudra. 5. Hold for 5 breathes. 👉Tips: 1. While squating keep your head up looking forward for balance. 2. Once in Anjali Mudra, keep your shoulders up and back. Keep drawing the elbows back. #globalyogisdetox day 25 is a fun down dog variation. It helps build a little more heat and challenges the balance a bit more. So here we go. Start in down dog for a few breaths. Then step your feet up an inch or two. This will help make the twist a little easier but by all means if you want the challenge keep your regular down dog. For the sake of this picture come up on to your left finger tips first to test the balance. Then slide the hand to the outside of the ankle, calf, or thigh and start to twist and try to gaze up towards the ceiling under your arm pit. Stay there for a few breaths and then switch sides. Easy!
