So happy the weather was finally nice enough to go for a run outside! 😊 Here are some great upper body and core exercises you can do at home and without equipment! 💪 ••• 🍃 Push-ups to Shoulder Tap Raise: First do a pushup and be sure not to let your back curl over or your hips drop down - your back should be in a straight line throughout. After the pushup, tap your opposite shoulder, then raise your arm up to at least ear height. Keep your core tight throughout for support! 🍃 Push-up Plank to Hip Twists: Start in a pushup position then simply transition to a plank position one arm at a time. Do this twice, then do the hip twists to each side (doing one of each the pushup plank and hip twists doesn't give you the full effect, so I did two each). Keep your core tight throughout, especially on the hip twists, keep control of your torso and squeeze your obliques at each twist. 🍃 Steady Mountain Climbers to Hip Dips: I am recovering from a hip flexor injury and my feet were slipping on the muddy ground so I couldn't do normal mountain climbers- if you can, you're welcome to. After the mountain climbers, lean on one arm and dip your hip down to the ground - squeeze your abs and keep your core tight! ❤️ Repeat 3 x 12 www.annavictoria.com/guides
