World Baseball Classic: Team USA Returns to Championship Game

Trea Turner is arguably the game’s best baserunner, but his power has lifted Team USA to the cusp of the WBC title. The Dodgers shortstop pounded two homers in the United States’ 14-2 semifinal win over Cuba. Chants of “Libertad!” rang through LoanDepot Stadium in Miami, the Cubans’ first visit there since the Fidel Castro era. “There's a lot of anxious feelings," said U.S. third baseman Nolan Arenado, the son of Cuban immigrants.
