Kyrie Irving Comments on the Racism He's Faced in Boston

The Brooklyn Nets guard discussed the reception he might receive as his team travels to Boston for game three of their NBA playoff series on Friday. Irving played two seasons for the Celtics. He left the franchise in 2019 to join Kevin Durant in Brooklyn. In a press conference Tuesday, Irving suggested he and other players experienced racism while playing in Boston, but "hopefully, we can just keep it strictly basketball; there's no belligerence or racism going on -- subtle racism."
