Inside the Warriors' Slow Start

Despite a victory last night over the winless and Zion-less Pelicans in New Orleans, the Warriors have opened this NBA season in a sluggish and disorienting way. Reeling from the loss of Kevin Durant to free agency and Klay Thompson to a knee injury, the Dubs hadn't held a lead in a game until yesterday. The move into the new Chase Center in San Francisco has altered some players' routines. The club is young; nine players are 23 or younger and still learning where they need to be on the floor. It's a new era for the once-dominant former champs.
