Anthony Davis' groin injury ended the Lakers' repeat bid. Kyrie Irving's rolled ankle and James Harden's sore hamstring have reduced the Brooklyn Nets' incomparable big three to just Kevin Durant. The Sixers' Joel Embiid has a torn meniscus that leaves his status perpetually hanging by a thread. Mike Conley has missed the last couple of games and Donovan Mitchell has been limited due to an ankle injury for the Jazz. This year's postseason could be dictated more by injury than clutch play.
