The Open Championship, as it is known everywhere except in the U.S. (to avoid confusion with the U.S. Open) returns to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland for the first time in 68 years. It is the only course outside of Scotland and England that has hosted the event. It is also very close to where scenes from Game of Thrones were shot. All eyes will be on local hero Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka, whose caddie is from Portrush. As if the golfer who has won four of the last nine majors needs more help.
