A Crowded Heisman Race

For the first time in several years, there is drama coming down the stretch in the competition for the Heisman Trophy. There is no clear leader, as Florida's Kyle Trask struggled in a loss to LSU while Alabama's DeVonta Smith raised the possibility that a non-quarterback might win the award. Ballots were sent to Heisman voters on Monday, and they are due by Dec. 21. The winner will be announced Jan. 5.
