    Some Documents Unsealed

    A federal judge agreed Thursday to unseal some "minor" documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago. The documents are procedural and will not give insight into the underlying evidence for the Mar-a-Lago search. The Department of Justice said this would be fine.

    DOJ Must Submit Redacted Version Of Mar-a-Lago Search

    Federal Judge Bruce Reinhart rules that the Department of Justice must submit a redacted version of the Mar-a-Lago search affidavit before Thursday, August 25th at 12 pm. If Reinhart finds the redacted document to be sufficiently transparent, it would be released to the public.

    DOJ Pushback

    This came after the Department of Justice argued against a full release of the affidavit because the government stated in the affidavit that evidence of obstruction of justice might be found at Mar-a-Lago.

    Deanna Shullman, an attorney for ABC and the Wall Street Journal, responded to reporter questions outside the Florida courthouse.
