Elon Musk Agrees to Move Forward with $44 Billion Deal to Buy Twitter

The back and forth between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Twitter appears to be coming to an end. Musk originally agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion back in April, but then wanted to pull out of the deal when he said the company wasn’t providing enough information about bots. After Twitter filed a lawsuit to try and compel Musk to honor his agreement, and weeks before the trial would begin, Musk acquiesced Tuesday and agreed to move forward with the deal to buy Twitter for the original price.
