No Canada for Americans; Mexico wide open but be careful

For U.S. travelers eyeing close-to-home vacations, a quick hop across the northern border to Canada remains out of the question through February. As for Mexico, as of January 26, the U.S. requires a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before departure for all people entering the country.
