Day of the Dead Celebrations in Mexico Amid Coronavirus

Dia de los Muertos celebrations began on November 1st as families and individuals pay tribute to the departed. The tradition includes creating alters to welcome the spirits back, decorating them with photos, treats, pan de muerto, colorful Papel de Picado, candles, sugar skulls, incense and lots of Cempasuchitl (marigolds) that represent the fragility of life.
