The Ukrainian refugees stuck in Calais
More than two million people have fled Ukraine due to Vladimir Putin's invasion, many women and children. While Boris Johnson's Government is under pressure to provide more support for refugees, some of those stranded in Calais share their experience of trying to reach the UK.
'I feel tired. I can do nothing, I just have to wait and wait'
'We are worried that we will not get a visa'
Tetiana Osadchuk, 26, and her family are trying to reunite with her father in Reading but she was turned away from the UK border at Calais.
'They would just keep you waiting there in the line, and it was very long'
Kevin, a 26-year-old who spent a week travelling from Ukraine to Calais in northern France, said he was made to wait in line a lot longer than other civilians passing through the Polish border.
