The Twitter Army Helping Amazon's Anti-Union Efforts
Amazon has deployed a band of Twitter accounts aimed at fighting the company's critics, namely lawmakers like Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. The aggressive tactic is aimed at countering claims that the company's warehouse workers aren't happy and are in favor of unionizing. But not all of these Twitter accounts are legitimate — at least one was set up as a joke. Nevertheless, Amazon is not shying away from a fight.
