The Senate held the first congressional hearing centered around the massive SolarWinds cyberattack which breached numerous federal agencies and more than 100 private businesses. Leaders from Microsoft, FireEye, CrowdStrike and SolarWinds testified on Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee, calling for more information sharing around significant breaches, but also defended their actions over the cyber intrusion. Another hearing — this time before the House — is scheduled for Feb. 26.
