Elizabeth Holmes Found Guilty of Fraud

A jury has convicted the former Theranos CEO of fraud after more than a week of deliberations. She had been charged with nine counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, but jurors only agreed unanimously on eight total. That deadlock remained hours later even after U.S. District Judge Edward Davila instructed them to continue deliberating. Out of those that went to verdict, Holmes was found guilty of four. She faces up to 20 years in prison.
