Elizabeth Holmes' Fate Now Rests With the Jury

The lawyers made their case, and now 12 men and women get to decide whether the former Theranos CEO is guilty of defrauding investors, patients and doctors. In his closing argument, Assistant US attorney Jeffrey Schenk claimed Holmes "chose fraud over business failure. She chose to be dishonest." Her lawyers sought to paint a final picture that she was a true believer in the startup's technology. If found guilty, Holmes could face up to 20 years in prison.
