In his first extended public remarks since becoming Intel's chief executive, Pat Gelsinger unveiled a strategy he hopes will restore the company's flourish. Faced with increased competition overseas, investors were hoping for a way to turn things around. Part of the plan includes investing in two new factories, establishing a "foundry" to build chips for other companies, and trying to convince Apple that Intel should build its silicon chips.
