The Dark Knight
Featuring Phoenix Custom's Night Crusader. ––––––––––––––––––– This has been sitting around for some two years in a half-finished state, with small tweaks every now and then. I was hoping that the triangle road signs will be released in black at some point but eventually, I've got bored of waiting and I've just sprayed them black. More recently, I tried the newly released 2x2 triangle tiles as an alternate solution for the hood fins, but they didn't work as good as I was hoping. The front tires are obviously not Lego, they come from a Kaiyodo Revoltech Tumbler, which is just about the same scale as this one. For what it's worth, they were not even rolling on the original toy, so I gave them a chance to shine, as their design is absolutely perfect (unlike the rest of the toy, alas..) ––––––––––––––––––– Shooting and editing this is an absolute bitch, so only one picture for now. More angles and views on the interior – yes, it still opens and still fits the minifig – will come as I can find the time for them.
