Sculpture:Sébastien Preschoux -‘Nuit Blanche’ Sébastien Preschoux realized a project called ‘Nuit Blanche’ in Paris, France. During ‘Nuit Blanche’ Paris turns into one big art festival. Museums, private and public art galleries, and other cultural institutions open their doors, while the city itself turnes into one giant art gallery. Preschoux installed this fascinating work in the heart of a garden in the 13th district of Paris. The installation consists of seven wooden structures. They are up to three meters high and made of thread and light. The idea was to create peaks of colored mist growing out of the ground so that spectators could roam around them.

Friday with ET: "At the heart of the new consciousness lies the transcendence of thought, the newfound ability of rising above thought, of realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely more vast than thought. You then no longer derive your identity, your sense of who you are, from the incessant stream of thinking that in the old consciousness you take to be yourself." E. Tolle Tolle speaks about a New Consciousness, but it is not new because Buddha also speak to it, calling it Buddha Nature. Jesus speaks to it as the Kingdom of Heaven, and after Jesus (since he couldn’t) we call it (at least mystics to) Christ Consciousness….but is it new? What does new mean? New means subject to birth and death, because if something is new, it is just born, and what is born also dies. it is the Old Consciousness that is born and dies, that fears death and clings to form as if you were hanging from a vine over a cliff. This New Consciousness, since it isn’t born, can’t die…and if it isn’t born it is Timeless and formless..or as Buddha says, Empty. Old Consciousness is like a cup. New Consciousness is like the space around which the ceramic form is shaped. Without the space, no cup It is the space that makes the cup a cup.But we can’t see the space, so we cling to the form and pray it won’t be broken….for then, what’s left….THE SPACE! When we then turn our attention to our consciousness in this teaching, how does one get from the shape of the cup to the space, to be aware of the Space and my own Unborn Self…or timelessness. This is what Tolle called the Present Moment or Now. We awaken the Space (you can’t get to space), we arouse the Space Consciousness by letting go of our solid cup consciousness, our belief that our self, our ME, exists like a cup in time and space at a specific location. The Real ME is the Space that holds the cup, which….is the thought of a cup and a thought that is me….My Free Consciousness is THAT which holds the idea of me. This is “realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely more vast than thought.”
