Programs That Work to Reduce Youth Gun Violence

Much of America's street violence is concentrated in tiny geographic areas among tiny groups of young men. A handful of programs have successfully reduced this kind of violence by using mentors, counseling, and jobs to redirect the young lives that otherwise seem destined for prison or an early grave.
