The "new" animated series "X-Men '97" is set to debut on Disney+ on March 20, 2024, and, boy howdy is it rolling hard with the nostalgia. "X-Men '97" is a late-stage continuation of the "X-Men" animated series that ran on Fox Kids from 1992 to 1997, a series that was deeply beloved by kids in a very, very specific age bracket. Thankfully, viewers of the upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series won't need to wonder how this show fits in with the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
