School is really stressing me out this week, an my workouts have been suffering for it so I decided to get some work done with hopes of gaining some peace of mind in getting ahead a bit. Been feeling pretty crummy energy/body wise, something is just not right can't wait until this mystery is solved! For now, doing my best to nourish my body and rest up. Was feeling hungry so I made this quick protein mug cake with Greek yogurt frosting and peanut butter drizzle. ICE CREAAAMMMM. Healthy coconut vanilla almond milk ice cream with banana cake bread, puffed wheat, and a coconut peanut sauce (1/2 tbsp pb marshmallow whey, 1/2 tbsp melted coconut pb, and 1 tbsp almond milk). This ice cream is awesome. SO MUCH and its thick and doesn't melt right away and its only around 60 calories a serving 😳 The recipe for the ice cream is by @stuftmama but ill post the how-to in the comments because I can't even find hers!

Chady's #FitMiss Protein Vanilla Chip Pop Delight~ Ingredients: •2.5 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk • 1 scoop of FitMiss Protein Powder Vanilla Chai •2 tsp of vanilla extract. •1/4 cup + 1 tsp of carob chips/ choc chip. Instructions: •Pour almond milk in microwave safe bowl with FitMiss delight powder. Mix together. Heat for 1 minute. Then stir in vanilla extract. •place 1/2 of tbsp of carob chips/choc chips in the bottom of the Popsicle molds. Fill to the top with milk mixture, insert sticks and FREEZE :-) **Carob chips are similar to chocolate chips, but they are not the same. Carob chips are made with carob powder and have an earthy, cocoa-like flavor that's more mellow than chocolate. Unsweetened carob chips can contain nonfat milk powder to enhance carob's natural sweetness, as well as palm oil, which acts as a preservative. You'll find carob chips in the baking section of natural foods stores, in both unsweetened and sweetened form.

I made a non spicy version that went with a Southwestern Turkey Burger that was posted several posts earlier! This one is a hit! In a #ninja or chopper, combine 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 avocado, 3/4 cup fresh cilantro, 1/4 jalapeño, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp lime juice. Black bean brownies from today ! Turned out delicious ... ⬅RECIPE➡ •1 can black beans drained and rinsed • 1 egg (or 1 flax egg for fully vegan) • 1 ripe banana • 3 big swirls of honey or agave • 10-15 drops stevia (I used choc.raspberry) • 3 tbsp cocoa powder • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 tsp instant coffee ➖ mix all above in a food processor and then scoop in to greased pan ➖ I topped mine with enjoy life chocolate chips (can add nuts of choice etc) ➖ bake at 350 for 30 min and let cool for 30 min before slicing 💕

So lately I have been all about eating "real food." Aka mainly meat & veggies & some fruit 🐔🐮🍆🌽🍎🍇 plus oats & eggs🍳 and only 1-2 servings of my plant based protein powder (sunwarrior) each day. Oh and nut butter🍯 obvvv. I like doing this. I feel healthier. 👊 Anyway I have been craving pancakes so these are my ✨"Barely Pancakes" Pancakes✨ aka Eat Your Veggies Pancakes. EVERYTHING that went into these (besides baking powder) are things that I would usually eat on a normal day!!! Were they as good as regular pancakes? No. But they were still awesome. I'll tell y'all how I made them but please keep in mind they were 1⃣Harder to cook than normal pancakes 2⃣Tasted different than normal pancakes. 💟First make riced cauliflower (blend 1c raw cauliflower) and microwave it for 2 min. Then in a blender mix: 1/2c egg whites, 2c spinach, 1/2 banana, 1tsp baking powder, cinnamon & stevia to taste. Then mix with 1 scoop sunwarrior protein powder (prob whey won't work as well, different texture) and finally mix in the riced cauliflower. Cook like pancakes. Will be difficult. Gotta grease the pan like crazy. And they take longer. Whatever. Then eat them. Dunzo. ☺✌🍃🍃🍃

Awesome high #protein snack idea by @mybodytrimmeals - - QUICK PROTEIN CAKE POPS (using microwave) Ingredients: FOR CAKE POPS 1 scoop chocolate protein powder ¼ tsp baking powder 1 tsp natvia 1 heaped tsp vitarium sugar free drinking chocolate 1 tbs oil 2 tbs milk 2 tbs almond meal FOR coating 4 tbs sugar free maple syrup 1 tbs vitarium sugar free drinking chocolate Handful of shredded coconut Method: 1. In a mug (or small bowl) mix together the protein powder, baking powder, almond meal, natvia and sugar free drinking chocolate. 2. Add the oil and milk and mix until looks like cake batter 3. Put in the microwave on high for 20 seconds (when you take it out, it will look almost cake like, the stickiness of the uncooked batter helps to bind the cake pops) 4. Using your hands, mix the mixture together, separate and roll into four balls. 5. In a small bowl mix together the maple syrup and vitarium for the coating, and roll balls into it until they are all covered 6. Roll the coated balls into shredded coconut 7. Turkey Taco Soup... Holy yum this was perfect for the rainy day we are having... Ridiculously easy to make to! And boyfriend loved it! Ingredients: 3/4 cup ground lean turkey (cooked), 1 can low sodium black beans, 1 cup organic vegetable broth, 3 tbsp Mrs. Dash chipotle seasoning, 1.5 tbsp Sriracha, 2 Roma tomatoes, 1/2 yellow bell pepper, 1/4 white onion. Directions: Finely dice onion, tomato, and bell pepper. Mix in with ground turkey, broth, seasoning, and strained black beans. Heat stove top on medium for 10-15 minutes.
