What's All The Fuss About the James Webb Telescope?

After a 14 year delay, the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope could launch this year — at least that's what scientists at NASA and the European and Canadian space agencies hope. The James Webb Telescope will probe the far-reaches of space to help us understand the early universe, dark matter, exoplanet atmospheres, Pluto and much more. But it's not without controversy: NASA is investigating renaming it due to its namesake's alleged history of persecuting gay and lesbian people.
