The Growing Problem of Space Junk

The space around Earth has become congested with space stations, satellites, spacecrafts and debris. It's the last one that has scientists perhaps the most worried as it poses a danger to astronauts and to the inhabitants on the planet below. The Chinese rocket that fell uncontrollably earlier this month is one example of the dangers created by so-called space junk.
