NASA's Lucy Probe Launches to Study Asteroids Near Jupiter

What secrets will the Trojan asteroids reveal about the solar system? NASA hopes its Lucy spacecraft will be able to uncover some "fossils" so scientists can better understand the formation of planets. The probe lifted off on Saturday to start its 12-year mission surveilling these space objects around the Gas Giant. It will be the first-ever attempt to study the Trojan asteroids up close.
