NASA's Ingenuity Helicopter Takes Historic Flight on Mars

NASA made history this week, flying a helicopter on a remote planet not once, but twice. This week, the space agency's Ingenuity vehicle took off from the surface of Mars. The initial flights won't necessarily reveal much about the red planet — it's to ensure NASA that its spacecraft can handle the unknown environment. Nevertheless, this is a great achievement in space travel, which has some comparing it to the Wright brothers flight at Kitty Hawk.
